I love the selection of hoodies and T-shirts here. They are  definitely overpriced but are of good quality. I got a beautiful Illinois men's hoodie and it is super warm.

But I wish the store assistants were more approachable and efficient. I asked for my a smaller size and they said they will check the inventory and contact me, they never did, I had to go back to the store. Even at the store the arrangement is so haphazard that even they are not sure where certain merchandise is.

As a gift, I received a bag of the Komodo Dragon coffee from my sister. I French pressed it and I was hooked. This coffee was one of the most unique I had tried. It was dark and... SPICY. I had never had spicy coffee before. It was a amazing.

I got super excited when I found out that this was being served as the dark roast at stores. And then I was subsequently disappointed hard core-- how the actual fuck does Starbucks make their own deliciously roasted coffee taste like utter shit in-store??? How is it even possible that you mess up your own coffee?

I tried it as a pour-over the second time around. No luck. Urg.

This particular store does not have a food restrictions guide like other chains do and the employees are not knowledgeable about the ingredients, so do your research before coming here, if necessary.

It's honestly hard to pin down on your own which syrups are dairy-free. I wish Starbucks did provide a food guide like other big chains do (and I mean going beyond stating that soy and coconut milk are dairy free). I don't know why they don't. It seems like as a large corporation, they could figure this shit out. There's a lot of sources online: people blogging, posting in forums, hearsay, and PETA. But how do you know what the posters are saying are credible? Where are they getting their information from? Certainly not from Starbucks. And PETA's drink suggestions are so bad that it makes veganism look morally wrong.

Starbucks in general is not an ideal place if you're trying to eat vegan. The vegan drink options are quite shit unless you want a coffee; an overpriced, non-dairy latte; or a really bad frappuccino. So, essentially, you won't enjoy the thing that Starbucks is built on: customized, 300-calorie, sugared coffee drinks.

This Starbucks has particularly slow service... The Starbucks in the Union always works fast even during a swarm.

A comparison note about this Starbucks and the Espresso Royale around the corner: Espresso charges 20 cents more for their non-dairy milks than does Starbucks. However, Espresso's coffee is about 20 cents cheaper than Starbucks's.

I ordered a grande Chile Mocha Frappuccino with light ice and no whip cream (always do this for all my fraps). First off, the girl at the register charged me the wrong amount and when I pointed out her mistake, she did not even apologize. Secondly, when I got my drink, I noticed it was not like a frappucino at all--it looked and basically tasted like regular iced coffee and they just dumped large chunks of ice into my "light ice" drink. Terrible!
